Huyton Deanery Logo

As part of our restructuring we commissioned a new logo to help us focus and better reflect our aspirations and values. This logo is used by both the deanery and Huyton Deanery Academy, and can be found across the deanery on social and printed media, signage etc.

The logo reflects the centrality of the cross, the sovereignty of God, a commitment to reading, learning and living by the Bible, our aspirations to deepen our faith and grow in effectiveness

The general shape is that of an attainment shield and the four 'leaves' reflect the four priority areas of focus we have set to enable growth in our churches and across the deanery as a whole.

 These priorities include

(1) Worship, Prayer, Bible Study and Discipleship

(2) Evangelism, mission, church planting and growth

(3) Church Governance, Health and Safety, Practical Ministries

(4) Children, Youth and Schools Ministry

All grants to support ministry made by The Deanery Leadership Team fall within these areas and the Deanery Academy is structured to deliver on each of these priorities at least once in every quarter.

In 2024 our annual deanery conference has the focus of (4) Children, Youth and Schools Ministry and we look forward to coming together to hear some nationally acclaimed speakers we hope will refresh us in our thinking, aspirations and ministries to and with the younger generations.
