In Huyton Deanery we work collectively where possible to support each other in prayer, the sharing of ideas, overcoming challenges and encouragement.

One of the ways we do this is through officer forums. WhatsApp groups are in place for officers undertaking the same role from each parish to support each other and raise questions.  For example there is a wardens whatsapp group, a treasurers group etc

If you are an officer and not a member of an officers forum please speak with your church leader who can arrange for you to be added.

In addition, meetings take place throughout the year for officers to meet up and plan together. Feedback from these meetings is really positive.

At a recent treasurers' meeting one of those present commented 'that was one of the most helpful and useful hours in a church meeting ever!'

You bless us in so many abundant ways and we thank you today for the blessing of those people and skills which help our churches in Huyton Deanery to flourish.

Grant to all office holders your wisdom and peace, good humour and a spirit of togetherness, that as a deanery we may seek to do nothing for ourselves and only to bring glory to you
